A Hall County man faces charges of having a weapon on the campus of Lanier College and Career Academy.
Sheriff's Office Spokesman Derreck Booth said Tuesday Alexsi Langoria, 20, had an Airsoft pistol and was involved in a confrontation that was captured on cell phone video.
"In the video, at least what is on video," Booth said. "He never actually mentioned on camera that the pistol was actually Airsoft. So students were under the impression he actually had a gun."
Booth says Longoria turned himself in to authorities on Saturday and released on a $5,7000 bond.
He is charged with having a weapon on school property.
The alleged incident occurred on September, 19.
