The East Hall softball team edged out Greater Atlanta Christian 6-5 on Thursday thanks to a walk-off home run from Kaitlyn Daniel.
The Lady Vikings trailed 5-4 in the bottom of the seventh inning when Daniel homered on a 2-2 count, scoring two runs.
East Hall earned the victory despite allowing Greater Atlanta Christian to score three runs in the fifth inning.
Macy Banks led the Lady Vikings to victory in the pitching circle, surrendering 5 runs on 6 hits over 7 innings, striking out 9 and walking 1.
East Hall tallied two home runs on the day, one apiece from Daniel and Brown. Brown, Banks, and Daniel each had multiple hits for the Lady Vikings. Banks and Brown each managed three hits to lead East Hall.

The Lady War Eagles Varsity fired up the offense in the first inning, when Katilyn Babb doubled on a 3-2 count, scoring two runs.
Elizabeth Eddins was the winning pitcher for Chestatee, surrendering 4 runs on 4 hits over 7 innings. She also struck out 13 batters and walked none.
The Lady War Eagles Varsity totaled seven hits. Babb, Kala Sargent, and Isabel Long each managed multiple hits for Chestatee.

The Lady Wolves (10-8, 2-2 Region 8-5A) dominated from the outset on senior night, scoring eight runs in the first inning en route to the win.
Amelia Veal (5-1) earned the win in the pitching circle for Buford, throwing 2 innings of no-hit ball, while striking out 5 and yielding 1 walk. Ansleigh Hollifield picthed 1 inning of hitless relief with 3 strikeouts.
Mariah Wicker helped pace Buford at the plate, going 2 for 2 with a double, 3 RBI and 2 runs scored, while Hannah Morgan had a double and 2 RBI, and Shea Bayreuther produced 2 RBI and 2 runs scored.
Buford travels to Clarke Central at 5:55 p.m. Tuesday.
