Hispanic advocacy group targets Hall, three other counties in voter registration drive

The Georgia Association of Latino Elected Officials has launched a drive to hire bilingual workers in a voter registration canvass (#GALatinoVote) of Hall, DeKalb, Whitfield and Cobb counties.

"We are hiring for several canvassing positions to increase the #GALatinoVote," according to a posting on GALEO's Facebook page.  "You will be making an impact in your community by registering voters and working to remind people to vote for the November 6th elections. There are options for growth pay provided you exceed performance expectations. If you are interested, send an e-mail to [email protected] in order to discuss openings. Please send along your resume and two to three references."

Base pay is $14/hour.

Requirements:

-Live in, or near Hall, Dekalb, Cobb, or Whitfield counties.

-Fluent in English and Spanish.

-Organized, reliable and friendly.

-Own a smartphone and vehicle.

-Technology proficient

-Eligible to work in the United States.

-18 years of age or older.
