The Georgia Department of Transportation will be partnering with the state Department of Labor to host a pair of job fairs in the month of September, the first of which will be held in Habersham County.
In a release, the Georgia DOL says that a job fair will be held at the Habersham Career Center on Hodges Street in Cornelia on Monday, September 17 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. The second job fair is being held in Forest Park on September 20.
In the release, the DOL says that the Department of Transportation is looking for "maintenance workers who might be posted in various locations around the state."
The DOL says they encourage people interested in coming to either of the fairs to go to employgeorgia.com to prepare a resume if they do not have one already. They also say that applicants should bring their drivers license and dress in business casual.
