A Forsyth County man faces charges after Hall County deputies say he sent sexually explicit text messages to an 11 year old girl.
Hall County Sheriff's spokesman Derreck Booth says deputies arrested 51 year-old Dwayne Ferguson last Thursday after a family member of the victim alerted them to the texts.
Investigators determined that the motive for the messages included the seduction, solicitation, and luring of the young girl to provide her own indecent pictures and perform sexual acts.
Deputies actually obtained a warrant for Ferguson's arrest in November of 2016 but couldn't arrest him until last week because he was incarcerated elsewhere in an unrelated case.
His arraignment hearing is scheduled for October 9th and he remains in the Hall County jail without bond.
