A brief medical episode was the cause of a car accident with no injuries at East Hall Middle School Thursday morning.
The school staff member had the episode and missed his parking space, crashing his vehicle into the guard rail near the front of the school, according to a release from Hall County Schools spokesman Gordon Higgins.
Higgins said EMTs and school personnel came quickly, and the staff member was checked out. They determined he should be checked out by his personal physician and EHMS Principal Kristin Finley arranged for his wife to pick him up.
There were no injuries in accident and Higgins said the only damage was to the guard rail and front of vehicle.
A message will be sent out by Finley later today to the EHMS community regarding the accident.
