'Sliced' to take over old Little Italy building in Gainesville

A pizza chain with locations in Hoschton and Commerce is planning to open its third location in Gainesville, taking over the old Little Italy building on Riverside Drive.

In an announcement Thursday on its Facebook page, Sliced indicated it would be setting up its first location in Hall County.

"We’re excited to announce that we have our 3rd new location coming soon to Gainesville! We will keep you guys posted as our progress continues," the post reads.

Gainesville officials have been unable to confirm whether or not the new business owners had filed for a business license.

Sliced sells New York style, thin crust pizza, wings, sandwiches and salads for dine-in or carryout orders. The restaurant also caters.

On its website, the eatery boasts a selection of beer — including craft beer — and wine, plus draft root beer.
