Father-daughter duo arrested for selling marijuana, MDMA in Forsyth County

A father-daughter duo from Forsyth County face multiple drug charges, including intent to distribute, according to the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office.
 
Cpl. Doug Rainwater said Daniel McGregor Williams III, 51, and Morgan Christina Williams, 17, were arrested Wednesday following a raid on a storage unit and a residence in the northern end of the county. During the raid, agents with the Johns Creek Alpharetta Forsyth County Drug Task Force seized more than two pounds of marijuana, 87 MDMA pills, $22,000 in cash and some drug paraphernalia.
 
Rainwater said agents with the task force had been investigating Morgan Williams for several months for the sale of illegal drugs to high school students. She is a senior at North Forsyth High School, according to Rainwater. Her father was apparently working with her, according to investigators.
 
Daniel Williams faces the following charges:
  •       VGCSA Intent to Distribute MDMA 
  •       VGCSA Use of communications  

Morgan Williams faces the following charges:

  •        VGCSA Sale Marijuana (X2)
  •        VGCSA Intent to Distribute marijuana (X2)
  •        VGCSA Intent to Distribute MDMA 
  •        VGCSA Possession of marijuana more than OZ
  •        Tampering with evidence
  •         Possession of Drug Related Objects
Rainwater also confirmed that both suspects are related to Elaine Sunwoo Williams, a woman from Cumming who was arrested three years ago for attempting to buy a baby off Craigslist for her 14-year-old daughter.
