Friday Game Night editor Morgan Lee and writer Jeff Hart do not look at football as a nine-to-five job -- it is part of every day life.
With that in mind, the driving force behind FGN, along with video producer Seth Chapman, decided to do something a little extra this season. We're not just talking about the games amongst ourselves -- or with players and coaches. Now we're going to put those thoughts down on video, in weekly fashion.
With that in mind we present you the first webisode (is that a word? I feel like I read it somewhere...) of FGN Weekly. We are still working on a catchy title -- Football Guys News? (That's kind of dull.) Football Geeks Network? (Now we're getting closer to the mark.)
It is our attempt to entertain and inform as we break down the week that was and the week that will be. In this case we'll take a brief look at 2017 and how that sets us up for 2018 -- and just what we think northeast Georgia prep football has in store for us this campaign.
We promise we'll get better as we go, but don't expect miracles from these old dogs. But if we can inform and illicit a chuckle or two, well, we've done something.
