GAINESVILLE - A lot of smoke at a school gets quick attention, but fortunately the source of the smoke was outside any school structures.
According to Gainesville Fire Division Chief Keith Smith, "Shortly before 11:00 Friday morning Gainesville Fire personnel responded to Lakeview Academy for a reported vehicle fire."
"Upon arrival personnel found a 'box truck' with heavy flames and smoke showing," Smith said. "Crews worked quickly to extinguish the fire. There were no injuries and no children endangered by the fire. The Fire Marshal’s office will be investigating the incident."
The truck belonged to a floor cleaning business and was a total loss according to Smith.
