The city of Cumming voted in a change to their annexation process.
Director of Planning and Zoning Scott Morgan says the change orginiated with Mayor Troy Brumbelow when, "He presented the idea to the counil and they voted unanimously to waive the fee."
The fees prior to being waived ranged from $400 - $750.
All other processes remain the same and the annexation fee waiver covers properties in all zonings.
