According to a facebook post, someone broke into the facility in Fannin County in the early morning hours of June 4th and cut off the water supply, killing 52,000 fish.
Twelve of the hatchery's 46 raceways filled with fish were affected.
The hatchery's friends group offered a $1,500r reward to whomever can help catch the criminal.
The hatchery produces 1 million trout each year, mainly rainbow trout, to be put into the streams and lakes across Georgia.
