A Gainesville man was arrested for allegedly shooting another man in the abdomen.
"The victim in this case is an adult male. He's currently in the hospital. He's expected to survive, he's in stable condition," said Lt. Scott Ware with the Hall County Sheriff's Office. The name of the victim was not released.
The incident happened in the 2300 block of Fern Drive in Hall County on Sunday, according to information from the Hall County Sheriff's Office. Jonas Emanuel Jenkins, 28, faces an aggravated assault charge. "He was arrested without incident [Tuesday] at a location on Myrtle Street and was booked into the Hall County Jail," said Ware. "And he's sitting there with no bond at this time."
