The Lumpkin County Sheriff's Office has released the names of the three adults involved in a Thursday morning murder-suicide on Bryn Road.

Lumpkin County Sheriff Stacy Jarrard said Kelley James McDonald, Jr., 39, of Tampa, Fla. shot and killed his ex-wife Kelly Jean Garrison, 35, of Tampa and her sister Tracy Lynne Runnels, 38, of Dahlonega before turning the gun on himself.  The bodies of the three deceased adults have been taken to the GBI Crime Lab for autopsies, according to Jarrard.

"At the time of the incident, Kelly James McDonald, Jr. was wanted for charges stemming from a domestic violence incident in Florida with Kelly Jean Garrison," Jarrard wrote in a press statement Friday afternoon.

A 16-year-old who was shot during the incident underwent multiple surgeries, according to Jarrard. At last report, she remained at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta - Egleston Hospital.

Jarrard said two other children at the residence were not seriously hurt.

"[A] 13-year-old victim had minor scratches to her hand and did not need to be transported to the hospital," Jarrard wrote. "The 2-year-old was found to not be injured at the hospital."

The names of the juveniles will not be made public, according to Jarrard.

The shootings occurred Thursday morning just before 8:30 a.m. at the residence on Bryn Road, which is located in the southwest area of Lumpkin County.

"[I would] like for everyone to remember these families and the victims during this tragic event and keep them in your prayers," Jarrard said.
