Missing Gwinnett County teen located safely

By Alyson Shields Reporter

A 13 year old juvenile who was reported missing Friday has been located and is safe.
Simone Gonzalez was located Sunday evening at an Asian cuisine restaurant and was reunited with her mother. Officials said in a press release updated that they do not believe foul play was involved or that Gonzalez disappeared against her will.
Gonzalez went to school but did not return to her Lawrenceville home Friday, prompting the search. Detectives on the case began combing the teen's social media history and spoke to friends, who detectives said were eager to help find Gonzalez.
Specific details, including her activities while she was missing, will not be released, officials said, citing OCGA 49-5-40.
