Two people were treated for non-life threatening injuries following a shooting Sunday night in Jackson County.
Jackson County Sheriff Janis Mangum said deputies responded to a shots fired call at West Jackson Villa Apartments around 6 p.m.
Mangum said the incident appears to be domestic related. Deputies detained the shooter.
"A traffic stop on a vehicle at the McDonald's on Highway 124 near Highway 332 was related to the shooting incident, and two subjects were detained from this traffic stop," Mangum said.
The case remains under investigation, and charges are pending.
Authorities have not released the names of the victims or detainees.
