Republicans to hold gubernatorial debate in South Hall County, seating is limited

Six candidates to be Georgia's next governor are slated to square off in a debate at the end of March in Flowery Branch.

The event, hosted by the 9th District Republican Party, will be held at 5:30 p.m. March 31 at the Venue at Friendship Springs, according to a social media post about the event.

Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle, Sec. of State Brian Kemp, State Senator Michael Williams, former senator Hunter Hill, businessman Clay Tippins and educator Marc Urbach will participate in the 90-minute debate, which will be moderated by Greg Bluestein, political reporter with the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Seating is limited to 500 people, and tickets are required in advance. They are free of charge, and can be obtained here.

The event is open to the public.
