Qualifying begins Monday for Clermont election

By Ken Stanford Reporter

Qualifying begins Monday for a special March 20 city council election in Clermont.

The winner will fill the unexpired term of Robin Brown (Ward 1), who resigned in December.  Her term ends December 31, 2019.

Qualifying will continue at city hall in Clermont through Wednesday.

Brown, herself, was serving the unexpired term on Eric Thomas.  She assumed the post in 2016.  Thomas had resigned earlier that year.
