Voters casting early ballots for the General Election have kept elections officials all over the state on their toes, and that includes those in Hall County.

Elections Director Lori Wurtz said 13,421 Hall County voters had cast ballots by Friday, Oct. 26. Early voting has been underway since Monday, Oct. 15.

"Yesterday [Friday] was our busiest day with 1,488," Wurtz wrote in an email.

She said she was expecting polls workers to be busy at Hall County's four locations for the one mandated Saturday voting day during the advance voting period. Polls will be open Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Hall County.

Hall County has 120,848 registered voters.

The last day for advance voting in Georgia is Nov. 2. The General Election is Nov. 6.
