One person killed, three injured in North Forsyth wreck

A woman was killed and three people were injured in a Wednesday morning collision on Jot Em Down Road in Forsyth County.

The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office said deputies responded to the scene at Jot Em Down near County Lake Road at 9:32 a.m.

"The investigation at this point has determined that a 2001 Toyota Sequoia, operated by 31-year-old Sean Charles Campbell of Gainesville, Georgia was traveling west on Jot Em Down Road when the Sequoia left its lane, crossing over the yellow centerline, striking a 2006 Honda CR-V which was traveling east on Jot Em Down Road," said Cpl. Doug Rainwater in a press statement.

The driver of the CRV, identified as  71-year-old Barbara Morgan Fowler of Dawsonville, died at the scene.

The front seat passenger in Fowler's vehicle, 75-year-old Robert Fowler, sustained non-life threatening injuries.

Campbell and his passenger, 23-year-old Kelsey Sullivan of Forsyth County, also were injured in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation by the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Specialist Unit. 

At this point, no charges have been filed in connection with the crash.
