By AccessWDUN staff

Week 5 of the high school football season was a lot more of what we've come to expect: incredible individual performances (we're looking at you Coey Watson, Nick Lyles, Kaleb Crane and Clayton Dykehouse), great team wins (Commerce, Banks County, North Gwinnett, Chestatee and Jefferson), and stages set for intrigue in Week 6.

In this week's edition of the Prep Talk podcast, AccessWDUN sports editor Morgan Lee and Katie B. discuss:

Beginning of the show: Commerce is undefeated heading into a matchup with No. 2 Prince Avenue Christian on Sept. 29, what makes this year's Tigers so good?

6- minute mark: North Gwinnett made a statement on Friday night against Mountain View that the Bulldogs are back, but in a different way than what we're accustomed to seeing.

  • Also in this segment, a look ahead to a huge region matchup with Mill Creek on Sept. 29

12-minute mark: A deserved dote-fest on Dawson County's Coey Watson
