Gainesville First United Methodist Church, with assistance from Syfan Transport, is working with several schools in the north end of Hall County to gather cleaning supplies for the residents of Texas affected by Hurricane Harvey.
Through September 14, the church will collect Cleaning Kit buckets, load them in a trailer supplied by Syfan Transport, and then the trucking company will take the buckets to impacted areas.
The church will coordinate delivery efforts with other churches working in the communities that have flooded.
