Ross Bailes and Riley Hickman both made trips to victory lane in ULTIMATE Super Late Model action over the weekend.
Bailes’ win came on Friday night at South Carolina’s Laurens County Speedway, while Hickman was the victor at Georgia’s Senoia Raceway on Saturday night.
On Friday, Bailes took home top honors in the Ronnie Brookshire Memorial at Laurens County Speedway. The win was worth a $4,014 payday to the Clover, South Carolina driver.
Bailes led all 40 laps from the pole in the feature en route to the victory.
Dennis Franklin finished in second, with Zack Mitchell in third, Brent Dixon in fourth and Tyler Millwood in fifth.
Frank Coates, Doug Sanders, Josh Richeson, Mike Kernells and Brett Hamm rounded out the top ten.
On Saturday, the series moved to the Peach State, where Ooltewah, Tennessee’s Riley Hickman led flag-to-flag to score the Friends of the Dream 40 at Senoia Raceway.
Hickman pocketed a cool $4,000 for his efforts, as he edged out Ray Cook for the victory after starting on the pole.
Travis Pennington came home in third, with Jason Hiett in fourth and Austin Horton in fifth.
Clint Smith, Ashton Winger, Mason Massey, Michael Page and Jason Welshan rounded out the top ten.
