The 2017 preseason coaches Amway Top 25 college football poll was released on Thursday, with the University of Georgia coming in 15th in the initial rankings. Georgia Tech received votes.
National championship runner-up Alabama came in at No. 1, followed by Ohio State, Florida State and Southern Cal, with defending champ Clemson sitting fifth -- though the Tigers did receiver the second most first place votes behind the Crimson Tide.
