An early morning fire Wheeler Road in Lula destroyed a mobile home, leaving two adults without a place to live.
Hall County Fire Services Capt. Zachary Brackett said crews were called to the scene around 4 a.m.
"Arriving units found a single wide mobile home fully involved with fire with an associated woods fire," Brackett said in an email.
He said the two occupants were not home at the time of the fire, but two pets - a dog and a bird - were killed in the blaze.
The American Red Cross is assisting the occupants of the home.
An investigation is underway to determine the cause.
