By B.J. Williams

A Hall County woman and her boyfriend have been arrested after the woman's 7-year-old son went missing for several hours early Tuesday morning.

The Hall County Sheriff's Office said in a press release 34-year-old Tarrisa Anne Johnson and 31-year-old Jonathon Everette Hardin each face one count of cruelty to children in the first degree.

The boy, who was the subject of an overnight alert, disappeared from a residence in the 4200 block of Riviere Point off Tanner's Mill Road around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday.  Investigators said he was found several hours later on the back porch of a neighbor's house.

"The child had several injuries which required medical attention," the press statement read. "The investigation revealed that the suspects were responsible for the child’s injuries."

Investigators said they notified the Department of Family and Children Services (DFACS).

This case remains under investigation by the Hall County Sheriff’s Office.
