Braselton Downtown Development Authority seeks members

By AccessWDUN staff

The Braselton Downtown Development Authority is seeking to fill two seats on the seven-member body.

DDA chairman Clay Eubanks says applications are now available for anyone interested in serving.   Bylaws require members to either be a resident property owner or an owner or manager of a downtown business.

Eubanks said, “The ideal applicant for the DDA board must attend one board meeting per month plus devote up to about ten hours per month to organizing and implementing projects and activities in downtown.  Additionally, state law requires specific training for newly appointed DDA members in Georgia.”

The Braselton Town Council will make the appointments.  The four-year terms will begin in July.
