Bradford Street in Gainesville will close at 8 a.m. Thursday as Norfolk Southern does repair work on the railroad crossing.
The work is expected to last throughout the day, according to a news release issued Wednesday morning.
A detour route is planned (see photo), which will route traffic onto Industrial Boulevard, Hancock Avenue and Moreno Street.
Officials said the work should be finished on Thursday.
