The Hall County Library will host an old book repair clinic at the library's main branch in Gainesville on Wednesday.
The repair clinic is in partnership with Mike Grimes of TLC Book Repair in Jasper. Grimes has been in business for 40 years and has restored family Bible, cookbooks and other old books.
Grimes will examine books at the clinic and provide options and cost estimates for the repairs. Repairs normally take three weeks.
“The best part of my job is making people happy by restoring their family treasure or heirloom. The restoration service that I
provide is almost as unique as the Bibles and books which I rebind," said Grimes in a press release.
