CLEVELAND — No one was hurt when a farm structure burned Tuesday afternoon near Cleveland.
White County Fire Services stations 6, 2, and 4 and Cleveland Fire Department were dispatched to the fully-involved structure fire on Albert Reid Road about 5 p.m., said White County Public Safety Director David Murphy.
“Upon arrival of the first fire units, the structure was determined to be a 1,500-square-foot barn with farm equipment, miscellaneous farm supplies, and some lumber,” Murphy said.
Murphy said it took firefighters only 35 minutes to complete a knockdown of the fire in the barn, which was a total loss.
“It is undetermined after investigation as to how the fire started,” Murphy said.
Firefighters remained on scene for about 90 minutes.
