SENOIA, Ga. - Austin Horton captured the Super Late Model victory at Georgia’s Senoia Raceway in the speedway’s first points paying race of the 2017 season.

Horton dominated the night by leading in qualifying, then used his pole position to jump to the early race lead. It was a lead he hold for the duration of the 25-lap feature.

Behind him, Clint Smith ran second for the first part of the race before dropping out with mechanical failure at lap 10. That left second place to Ricky Williams, who battled with Shane Fulcher.

Glenn Morris would use the high side of the track as the laps wound down to move up, eventually overtaking Williams for the number two spot.

Up front, Horton drove to the win over Morris. Williams finished in third ahead of Mason Massey with Zach Leonhardi in fifth.

In other action, Matt Dooley scored the Limited Late Model feature victory after battling with Joey Armistead during the final stages of the race. Bailey Williams finished in third, with Corey Payton in fourth and Clifton Moran in fifth.

Ashton Winger led flag-to-flag to score the Crate Late Model feature victory. Dennis Lykins, Jr. finished in second, with Bobby Mills in third, Jamie Maurice in fourth and Chase Baker in fifth.

Curtis Turner snuck into victory lane in the Late Model Sportsman feature when leader Blant Duke and Bobby Arnold made contact on the final lap. That allowed Turner to power around both of them to take the win, with Duke, Arnold, Billy Stevenson and Richard Goode rounding out the top five.

James Swanger moved to the lead of the Hobby Stock feature when Ryan Ray bobbled on lap 11. Swanger then went on to score the victory, with Ray in second, Blake Harmon was third, with Ted Willingham fourth and Larry Bednar fifth.

Derrick Matthews took the win in the Bomber feature, with Jr. Harder in second, Carley Arnett in third, Ricky Neill in fourth and Jim Jackson in fifth.

Mark Newton led all 15-laps in the Mini Stock feature en route to the win. Shannon Etheridge finished in second, with Tommy Faulkner third, Mike Younginer in fourth and Marc Leath in fifth.

Michael Follmer was the winner in the Hot Shot feature, with Byron Sisson second, William Ethridge third, Nathan Farrow fourth and Mark Meyer fifth.
