LILBURN — The Lakeview Academy girls soccer team closed out its regular season in impressive style with a 1-0 victory in overtime over Providence Christian on the road.
Carmen Wagner scored in 30 thirty seconds of first overtime period. The win was the fourth straight to end the season for the Lady Lions (12-3, 3-1 Region 8-A), who also locked up the No. 2 seed and will have a home playoff game next Tuesday in the first round.
Ansley Rochester recorded several key saves in goal to preserve their third straight shutout.
