South Hall fire ruled accidental, likely electrical cause

A fire Sunday afternoon in the Flowery Branch area has been ruled accidental, officials announced Monday.

The fire, which broke out before 5 p.m., did about $150,000 damage to the home on Remington Drive, said Hall County Fire Cpt. Zach Brackett in a statement.

The cause was likely from something electric, Brackett said.

No injuries were reported at the 2,000-square foot home, which is considered a total loss.
