OCALA, Fla. - Tyler Clem and Tony Stewart both notched USCS Sprint Car Series victories over the weekend at Bubba Raceway Park in Ocala, Florida.
Clem was first under the checkered flag for the Friday night win in the Spring Speed Explosion at the 3/8 mile dirt oval, while Stewart, the three time NASCAR Cup Series champion, took the win on Saturday night.
On Friday, the 14-year-old from Tampa, Florida edged out Thomas Kennedy for the win. Jordan Mallett finished in third, with Stewart in fourth and A.J. Maddox in fifth.
Mitch Brown, Matt Kurtz, Morgan Turpen, Terry Gray and Tanner Witherspoon rounded out the top ten.
On Saturday, Stewart took the lead from Danny Martin, Jr. on lap 19, and held the lead the rest of the way to score the victory.
Martin, Jr. finished in second, with Brown in third, Clem in fourth and Witherspoon in fifth.
Michael Miller, Turpen, Shawn Murray, Mark Ruel, Jr. and Terry Gray rounded out the top ten finishers.
The USCS Sprint Car Series returns to action with a double-header weekend beginning at Carolina Speedway in Gastonia, North Carolina on Friday, April 7. The weekend concludes on Saturday, April 8 at Lancaster Speedway in Lancaster, South Carolina.
