Update: Missing Rabun woman seen Sunday in Hollywood

Rabun County officials are continuing to seek the public's help in locating  a woman who went missing in that county with her three young children Thursday night.

Sheriff Chad Nichols said Monday afternoon Brittany Rebecca Stewart, 28, was spotted in Habersham County on Sunday.

"She was seen and talked to at that store in Hollywood yesterday," Nichols said. "But we still haven't been able to locate her. We just want to see her and talk with her ourselves."

Stewart was last seen around 7 p.m. Thursday. Her three young sons, ages 7 months to 7 years, are with her.

She is believed to be driving a maroon 1999 Ford Explorer with Georgia license plate RCP 0743.

Officials believe Stewart and the children could be in danger.

Anyone who sees the vehicle or Stewart is asked to dial 9-1-1. Anyone who knows her whereabouts should call Rabun County Dispatch at (706) 782-6226.
