Chris Madden outraced the weather and the competition to score the $5,000 top prize for winning Saturday night’s Super Late Model Southeastern Classic at Woodstock, Georgia’s Dixie Speedway.

The Gray Court, South Carolina driver started on the pole and was never seriously challenged during the 50 lap feature.

However, behind him it was action packed with position changes throughout the race. Michael Page made his way to second in the closing laps, as he muscled his way past Casey Roberts. Derek Ellis crossed the line in fourth, with Tyler Millwood coming home in fifth place.

T.J. Reaid, Shane Tankersley, Austin Horton, Luther Jenkins and Justin Shipley rounded out the top ten.

In other action, Chris Fennell took the Steel Head Late Model feature win ahead of Mike Weeks in second. Aaron Wilson finished in third, with Scott Hall in fourth and Landon Bagby in fifth.

Drew Kennedy fled the snow all the way from Sunbright, Tennessee to take the win in the Crate Late Model feature. Logan Palmer followed in second, with Tate Nichelson third, Ashton Winger fourth and Jake Jones fifth.

The Brewer family took home the top money in the Super Bomber feature, with youngest son Daniel taking the win, followed by father Alan in second and older brother Michael in third. Randall Powell finished fourth, with Donny Thurman in fifth.

Dalton Polston took the Economy Bomber feature win, with Colt Sosebee, Randy Ledford and James Maddox rounding out the top four.

The Stinger division was rained out and will run double features at the regular event in April.

Dixie Speedway will host Play host to the Georgia Short Track AMA Pro Motorcycle Racing Tour, featuring flat track motorcycle action on March 25.
