Baseball: North Hall edges out North Forsyth, 4-3

COAL MOUNTAIN — North Hall baseball edged past North Forsyth, 4-3, on Thursday in Coal Mountain

Reese Olson earned the win on the mound for the Trojans (6-3), pitching 5 innings and striking out eight batters while allowing one hit and no earned runs. Caleb Clark earned the save, pitching 2 innings

John Mark Montgomery helped lead North Hall at the plate with one hit and two RBI, while Drew Hubbard supplied a hit and an RBI. Taber Mongero, Austin Adams and Dylan Lavender also each contributed one hit.

Kyle Martin had a hit and two RBI for North Forsyth.

The Raiders (4-3) will look to bounce back against Gainesville on Saturday in Coal Mountain.

The Trojans will travel to face Lumpkin County in a Region 7-AAA game on Monday in Dahlonega.
