A 15-year-old reported missing Thursday evening was found at a relative's home Friday night, according to Oakwood police.
Samuel John Franklin disappeared Thursday night at the Best Western hotel on Mundy Mill Road. The teen had recently been placed in a foster home by the Hall County Department of Family and Childrens Services (DFCS). Officials were worried about his health, since he was apparently without needed medication.
"I was advised by [the] Hall County Deputy at the scene that Samuel was in good health and he was taken into custody without incident," Oakwood Police Sgt. Danny Sridej said in an email statement.
Sridej said the teen was returned to DFCS custody.
