Police ID suspect accused in murder of Suwanee man

Gwinnett County Police have identified the suspect in a fatal shooting at a gas station that left a Suwanee man dead.

Nickolas Young, 19, is charged with murder and aggravated assault in the death Vitali Mialik, 34, at a Norcross gas station Friday night.

Police are still unsure of Young's whereabouts.

The shooting happened at the Valero on Beaver Ruin Road shortly after 11 p.m. when Young and Mialik got into an argument.

Young allegedly went to his vehicle and grabbed an assault rifle, then shot and killed Mialik in the parking lot.

A second suspect is also on the loose, but his identity and whereabouts remain a mystery.
