A Forsyth County man has been arrested and charged with stealing a boat in Flowery Branch this past summer.
Douglas Edward Knierm, 31, of Cumming, is accused of stealing a Sea Ray boat from a location on Mitchell Street in July.
Hall County Sheriff's investigators said the boat, valued at $45,000, was found a couple days after the crime in Forsyth County.
Deputies arrested Knierm on December 22, according to a sheriff's office news release.
He remained in the Hall County Jail Wednesday morning, charged with felony theft by taking. Bond was set at $5,700.
