Christmas Week blew into north Georgia Sunday on gusty winds that kept temperatures in the 40s most of the day - and it looks like that will be the norm this week, with the added possibility of some sleet, freezing rain and snow.
The National Weather Service says the best chance for the freezing precipitation is Thursday, Thursday night and Friday. Right now, the forecast does not mention possible accumulations.
Temperatures this week, meanwhile, are expected to be below normal - with daytime highs in the 30s and 40s and nighttime lows in the 20s and 30s.
Elsewhere around the country, it's a White Christmas in places like New England and the Midwest.
