Boys basketball: White County stays undefeated; North Hall, Banks, Dawson each win

The White County boys basketball team took out Lumpkin County 69-46 on Friday to stay undefeated on the season.

The Warriors (6-0), were led by a balanced scoring effort, including 16 points for Austin Harris and 13 for Jay Lepkoske. Clay Dockery also added 11 in the win, while Austin Rowland scored 9.

Austin Black scored 12 points for the Indians.


NORTH HALL BOYS 72,
COMMERCE 42

Noah Holman paced the Trojans (3-1) with a game-high 17 points, while Dan Jackson added 13 and Taylor Hanson 12 in the win on Friday.

North Hall jumped out to a 12-5 first quarter lead and stretched its advantage to 33-12 at the half.

Janeus Cox scored 16 points for the Tigers (0-1).

The Trojans play again at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Greater Atlanta Christian.


BANKS COUNTY BOYS 49,
HART COUNTY 48

Carl Cleveland put up 21 points to help the Leopards (3-0) hold off the Bulldogs on Friday.

Dylan Orr also scored 17 points, grabbed 18 rebounds blocked 11 shots and snagged 6 steals for Banks County, and Gabe Martin had 8 points and 7 rebounds.


DAWSON COUNTY BOYS 73,
WEST HALL 56

Jeremiah Crumley scored 14 points, grabbed 5 rebunds and provided 4 assists for the Tigers in the win in Friday. 

Cullen Reed also scored 13 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and provided 4 assists, while Campbell Reed scored 12 and added 6 assists. Ryan Gallenkamp also had 10 points and 6 rebounds.
