Cindy Grier, a teacher at East Hall High School, has been named the HCSD Teacher of the Year for 2018-2019.
Grier, a member of the Math Department at EHHS, has been a teacher in the district for 19 years, all at East Hall. She began her career in education at Brenau Academy where she served from 1992 to1998.
She will now compete with other system winners from across the state for the Georgia Teacher of the Year.
