(VIDEO) Player of the Week: Jackson's big plays help Trojans land playoff spot

GAINESVILLE — Every time North Hall football needed a big play on Friday night, Daniel Jackson was there to provide it.

The junior running back/kick returner racked up 88 yards on the ground and a touchdown, caught three passes for 60 yards and exploded for a 93-yard kickoff return that gave North Hall control of what had been a back-and-forth shootout with Union County.

Jackson's efforts played a key role in helping the Trojans lock down a 55-34 victory over the Panthers and clinch their third straight state playoff berth.

For his efforts, Jackson has been named the Friday Game Night, Coca-Cola United Bottling Player of the Week.

Already a key cog in a North Hall team that has surged into the second half of the season, Jackson's performance on Friday helped show that the Trojans will be a program to be reckoned with as they prep for the postseason.
