GBI issues Levi's Call for missing Hall girl

While police have located the girl they believe she went missing with, a Levi's Call remained active Wednesday afternoon for a Hall County girl who disappeared in Alpharetta, authorities said.

In the early Wednesday morning Levi's Call, investigators said Brooklyn Niomy Smith, 13, was abducted by her father, Steven Keith Spires, 32, at 8:48 p.m. Saturday.  Smith also went missing with her father for several days last summer.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation put out the alerts for the two girls on the behalf of the Alpharetta Department of Public Safety.  Alpharetta Police on Monday went public with the case in north Georgia.

Both Smith and Desire Hall, 16, had last been spotted at Main Event Entertainment, a bowling, gaming and eating establishment on Davis Drive in Alpharetta.  The Levi's Call for Hall also indicated she had been abducted by Spears.

Later Wednesday morning, Hall was located in Covington, but Smith wasn't with her, Alpharetta Department of Public Safety officials stated on their Facebook page.  They found her while responding to an unrelated call at a hotel.

"Desire was walking in the parking lot and stated a male, other than Spires, had dropped her off," the post reads.

Smith and Spires are believed to be traveling in a 2011 black Ford sedan with tag number CAY7195, according to the alert.

"(The) child is believed to be in extreme danger," it goes on to say.

Smith is described as white, 4'11" tall and 100 pounds.  She has brown eyes and straight long brown hair.  She was last seen wearing a camouflaged jacket and pants with a Florida Georgia Line band tee shirt and brown cowboy boots.

Authorities described Spires as white, 5' 7" tall and 150 pounds.  He has blue eyes and brown hair, according to the alert.

There is an existing court order involving Spires and Smith, which prohibits any contact between the father and daughter, an earlier Facebook post from Alpharetta authorities said.

In the incident last summer, Spires and his girlfriend were arrested in August after a standoff at a hotel in McDonough. Smith, who was 12 at the time, had been traveling with the pair.

Authorities asked that anyone with information on the two call the Alpharetta Police Department at (678) 297-6300 or go online.
