NGMC Braselton welcomes New Year's baby

After a few days of waiting, Northeast Georgia Medical Center's Braselton campus has welcomed it's first baby of 2017.
 
Annaleah Jean Emmerich was the first baby born at the hospital at 1:59 p.m. Tuesday.
 
Annaleah, a baby girl weighing in at seven pounds, six ounces and was 20 inches long, joins Issac Ruiz as the New Year's Babies for both of the hospital's campuses. Ruiz was born at the Gainesville hospital almost 30 minutes in the the new year.
 
The Emmerich family will be treated to a gift basket from local vendors in celebration.
