The Flowery Branch softball team defeated Clarke Central 12-0 and 18-1 on Wednesday in Region 8-AAAAA tournament play, the victories advanced the Lady Falcons in the 8-AAAAA tournament and clinched a berth in the first round of the state tournament.
Flowery Branch will continue region tourney play on Tuesday at Buford.
