GAINESVILLE — Chestatee softball charged down a two-run deficit en route to a 4-3 win over White County on Tuesday in Gainesville.
The Lady War Eagles scored three runs in the bottom of the fourth to overtake the Lady Warriors.
Rebecca Eddins earned the win in the pitching circle for Chestatee, going all 7 innings , while yielding two earned runs on six hits.
Kaitlyn Babb led the Lady War Eagles at the plate, going 3 for 4 with 3 RBI. Elizabeth Eddins also had a double and a run scored, while Georgia Patterson had a hit, two runs scored and drew three walks. Danielle Ortega also had a hit and a run scored.
