Officials in the Forsyth County Parks and Recreation department have completed the final stages of updating the comprehensive master plan.

The plan will be presented at a joint Parks and Recreation Board and Committee meeting on Wednesday, October 5 at 7 p.m. and include results from the community needs assessment survey as well as information gathers at stakeholder meetings, focus groups and public meetings.

Following the meeting, the board and committee will be asked to consider a recommendation on the plan to the Board of Commissioners. The final plan will be presented to the Board of Commissioners at their work session October 25.

Citizens are invited to attend the meeting on October 5. It will be held in Suite 220 at the Forsyth County Administration Building.
