DAWSONVILLE — Chestatee pounded out 11 hits in taking a 10-1, five-inning win over Dawson County Wednesday.
Becca Eddins had three hits and three RBI to lead the Lady War Eagles attack. Beth Eddins and Katilyn Babb had two hits each and Georgia Patterson, Bailey Mason, Kala Sargent, and Danielle Ortega had one hit each for Chestatee.Patterson and Mason had two RBI apiece.
Chestatee scored a run in the first and extended the lead to 3-0 in the third. The Lady war Eagles pushed the lead to 6-0 in the fourth before Dawson County cut the lead to 6-1 in the bottom of the fourth.
The Lady war Eagles scored four in the top of the fifth to put the game away.
Becca Eddins also got the win going five innings allowing one run on two hits and striking out three.
